I am looking to setup a live stream in 720p or 1080i and I am looking for the right hardware.I am considering the latest Mac Mini and coupling it with the Ultra Studio Mini Recorder and FMLE 3.2.
I have been looking at the newest line of 2012 Mac Mini's.
I know that in order to stream video in HD using FMLE 3.2 a good amount of processing power is needed.
Based on the requirements listed by Adobe the specs I am looking at are as follows:
Mac Mini
2.6GHz Quad-Core i7
8GB RAM
1 TB harddrive
I am looking to pull the video in via Thunderbolt using Mini Recorder. I want to know if the machine above will be able to handle an HD stream in 720p or 1080i? And will the Mini Recorder work with the hardware and software?
Is it possible to do multiple bitrates with this equipment?
I know this may be an odd question.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.Greetings all --
